10U lacrosse is where we see the first set of changes from 8U, a few of the major changes is standard Lacrosse Net size, referees are introduced and penalties result in players needing to be subbed out of the game or in extreme cases the team would play a player down. Additionally the field size increases, though not as big as a full size field they do increase slightly in length and width. This increase is to allow for 7 on 7 play which is where the introduction of 2nd defenders and attack is available instead of the traditional 1 at 8U.
Another rule introduced is Possession, the defenders and attack are not allowed to move from the goal line until possession has been made and after each score there is a face-off. One final rule that is allowed is defenders are allowed to run the ball up the entire field as long as a midfielder stays back in the defensive zone without committing offsides
